Snow Day

My alarm bursts with sound leaving me with a ringing eardrum. My eyes slowly opened and everything was blurry. This is the sign of me waking up. I stumble my way to the bathroom and my dad comes over. “There is no school today, it has been cancelled.” This was the sound that made my day. I crawled back in bed and enjoyed my extra sleep.

I later woke up and walked over to my window and I noticed a paper-thin patch of snow on my front yard. The sun glistened on it as it was melting. Before time ran out, I had my chance to make whatever I could with the snow. It was good to have a break from school.

Rain

When it’s rainy, everyone spends their time inside. Sports canceled, concerts canceled. When ACL got cancelled, my heart sank. I head dreamt for months seeing the artists that were going to perform on the last day. There was light at the end of the tunnel, though. I got a ticket refund for the third day. Rain could ruin things but it still saves the earth.

10 Vocab Words

I sit down in my desk to do homework. I loathe having to do homework. As I’m trying to find a diversion, I am vexed by the clicking of the fan, and It was disrupting my studying. It was a portable fan, so I could expel it from my room. My homework was not soluble and it was incredible! As I was getting down to the last problem, I felt remorse because I probably answered most of the questions wrong. I relished the moment I finished my homework. I felt really good.

My Summer

My summer was pretty cool. I hung out with friends, and went to Colorado. In Colorado, I went hiking, visited friends, did bungee jumping, went to a concert, and went to something similar to iFly. How was your summer?
